his April position

Stern is doing what the lame Burklewatch should be doing: throwing out a cornucopia of potential leads that more respectable reporters (like Dan Walters) can check out. ... If Stern's output survives without provoking a fatal lawsuit, it could start a trend. But I advise reading it immediately--go ahead, leave my blog, I'll be here all day--before the Singer letters start arriving at Denton HQ. ... 5:59 P.M.

Nevada Republicans try to pressure Sen. Harry Reid on immigration by calling him a "rich Anglo"--an impressively unprincipled, offensive, and desperate move. [Also 'ironic'--ed Yes. But 'ironic' is now an unusable cliche.] ... 11:59 A.M.

Walter Kirn blames Malcolm Gladwell for the Iraq War. ... Not really. But not 100% not really.

Preserved corpses most popular exhibit on planet

Telus World of Science president George Smith said most people will see beauty in the specimens rather than gore and expects the $26 tickets to sell out fast.

University of Alberta anatomy professor Dr. Gail Amort-Larson expects the exhibit will be a hit with Edmontonians.

"Medical students especially. At the university they only have the chance to see brain slices, nothing like this. This has the potential to be a transforming growth experience for anyone who sees it," she said.

Lions' Johnson to have a bigger role

He scored a fifth TD on a 32-yard end-around run. Johnson led the Lions with a 15.8-yard average per catch.

Brown turned down a recent job offer to become the offensive coordinator at the University of Tennessee, where he served as assistant head coach and wide receivers coach from 1993-94. He joined the Lions in 2006.

"I like it here. I think we've got a chance. We've got a chance to be very special," Brown said. "That's exciting to me."

Leo and Bar Are Back (Her Especially) in Beachwear

Leonardo DiCaprio must be voting absentee, because right now he's living the good life with his hot girlfriend Bar Refaeli down in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It's almost a whole month since their last beach vacation, so it's understandable that he feels the need for another one. And it's not like it's any big secret why he would want to have his lady friend in a bikini as much as possible. It looks like while Leo was mostly enamored by his girl's assets, he also made sure to keep up to date on his BlackBerry and document his vacation on the digital camera. Most of all though, how much are you loving his beach hat?

Brian Roberts could put Cubs over the top

One of them is one of the all-time great liars.

Baseball spring training camps open this month and some big-name free agents are jobless and might have to swallow some pride to prolong their careers and sign for much less than they're accustomed to. They include Barry Bonds, Armando Benitez, Mike Piazza, Kenny Lofton, Shannon Stewart, Livan Hernandez, Sammy Sosa, Bartolo Colon, Shawn Green, Corey Patterson and Tony Clark.

If they can't find jobs, Bonds, Sosa, perhaps Clemens and Piazza all would be on the 2013 Hall of Fame ballot. It would be a very impressive group if they all were "clean."

But Piazza is the only one who hasn't been accused of using performance-enhancing drugs.

Billionaire Rochester sportsman Tom Golisano over the weekend reiterated that he's prepared to do what he can to keep the Buffalo Bills in western New York.

EDITOR'S CHOICE

BOLTON Wanderers are banking on new boss Gary Megson delivering results that will lift them clear of the relegation zone and ease growing concerns over a dramatic drop in attendances.

Crowd figures at the Reebok have slumped to a record low as the Whites have struggled at the wrong end of the Premiership.

And, while they are considering a range of incentives to boost gates, they don't expect any significant improvement until the team starts climbing the table.

"The stark reality is that the club is struggling on the pitch," commercial director, Gareth Moores, said.
